LG is joining the bandwagon of the android phones with slew of new phones of its own. Mostly budget phones. Very few in the upper spectrum of price. LG GX 500 one of those phones which lets you own a android smart phone without making a hole in your pocket. Added to that this a dual-sim phone.
The phone looks fine, not great. Not your slim trim nice looking one. But not a bad one to hold either. The screen is TFT one.Looks good but is not the best one under sun, not figuratively. its difficult to use in sun. The plastic back also does not give you the feeling of most stable phone around. The camera is fine.video recording is basic. The biggest reason to get this phone is the dual-sim feature. This does provide some neat features for the dual-sim usage. Next best reason that I can think of is that its a android smart phone but I would rate it a distance second reason as this does not boast a hardware that will let you enjoy the smart phone features.
The phone is generally slow. The phone book takes time to load. Can’t support angry-bird game so I would assume a lot of the android apps and games will turn out to be useless on this phone.
Now looking at why you should or shouldn't buy this one. If you want a dual-sim phone with a slew of features this is a nice buy for you. If you don't want a dual phone this wont qualify as a good phone only on the basis of it being a smart phone. If you want a smart phone rather look some where else. In-fact if you are not looking for dual-sim I would rather suggest take a feature phone because you cant use a lot of smart phone features on this phone
